Welcome to Chicago Luxury Stays (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, booking services, and rental properties. By accessing our website or making a reservation, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or book a stay.

1. Eligibility

Guests making reservations must be at least 25 years of age unless otherwise approved by Chicago Luxury Stays.

The individual making the reservation must occupy the property during the stay and is responsible for all guests included in the reservation.


2. Reservations

Reservations are confirmed only after:

  • Payment has been successfully received (when applicable)
  • Required guest information has been provided
  • Government-issued photo identification has been submitted when requested
  • Any required security deposit has been received

Chicago Luxury Stays reserves the right to refuse or cancel any reservation that does not satisfy these requirements.


3. Security Deposit

Certain reservations require a refundable $300 security deposit.

The security deposit may be used to cover:

  • Property damage
  • Missing items
  • Excessive cleaning
  • Unauthorized guests
  • Smoking violations
  • House rule violations
  • Other charges permitted under these Terms

Provided no deductions are necessary, security deposits are generally refunded within 7 days after checkout.


4. Check-In and Check-Out

  • Standard Check-In: 4:00 PM
  • Standard Check-Out: 11:00 AM

Because properties are cleaned following same-day departures, check-in instructions are typically released approximately 2 hours before check-in, once the property has been fully prepared and all pre-arrival requirements have been completed.

Early check-in and late checkout are not guaranteed and may be available only upon prior approval.


5. Guest Verification

Guests may be required to provide:

  • Government-issued photo identification
  • Matching payment information
  • Additional verification if necessary

Failure to provide requested verification may result in cancellation of the reservation.


6. Occupancy

Only guests listed on the reservation may enter or occupy the property.

Visitors are not permitted unless expressly authorized in writing.

All guests, including children, must be included on the reservation before arrival.

Unauthorized guests may result in immediate cancellation without refund and additional fees.


7. House Rules

Guests agree to comply with all posted house rules, including but not limited to:

  • No parties or events
  • No unauthorized gatherings
  • No smoking inside the property or common hallways
  • No pets unless specifically approved
  • Quiet hours from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • No illegal activity
  • Respect neighboring residents
  • Secure all doors and gates when entering or leaving

Violation of house rules may result in immediate termination of the reservation without refund.


8. Property Monitoring

For guest safety and property security, exterior areas of the property may be monitored by security cameras.

There are no cameras inside any guest living spaces or private areas.

Tampering with security equipment is prohibited.


9. Damage

Guests are responsible for all damage occurring during their stay beyond normal wear and tear.

Damage includes but is not limited to:

  • Furniture
  • Appliances
  • Electronics
  • Walls
  • Flooring
  • Windows
  • Doors
  • Plumbing fixtures
  • Missing inventory

Chicago Luxury Stays reserves the right to charge guests for repair or replacement costs.


10. Prohibited Conduct

Guests may not:

  • Host parties or events
  • Exceed maximum occupancy
  • Allow unauthorized visitors
  • Use the property for commercial purposes
  • Engage in illegal activity
  • Disturb neighbors
  • Damage property
  • Disable security devices
  • Misrepresent the purpose of the reservation


11. Cancellations

Reservations are subject to the cancellation policy selected at the time of booking.

Reservations canceled due to violations of these Terms or house rules may not be eligible for refunds.


12. Force Majeure

Chicago Luxury Stays is not responsible for cancellations, interruptions, or losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Severe weather
  • Utility outages
  • Government actions
  • Pandemics
  • Civil unrest
  • Acts of God


13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chicago Luxury Stays shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of personal belongings
  • Personal injury
  • Theft
  • Vehicle damage
  • Travel interruptions
  • Indirect or consequential damages

Guests are responsible for securing their own travel insurance if desired.


14. Indemnification

Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chicago Luxury Stays, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims, damages, expenses, attorney’s fees, or liabilities arising from:

  • Guest negligence
  • Guest misconduct
  • Violations of these Terms
  • Damage caused during occupancy


15. Website Use

Users agree not to:

  • Attempt unauthorized access
  • Interfere with website functionality
  • Submit fraudulent reservations
  • Upload malicious software
  • Use automated systems to scrape website content


16. Intellectual Property

All website content, logos, photographs, graphics, text, branding, and design are the property of Chicago Luxury Stays and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written permission.


17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any legal action arising from these Terms shall be brought in the appropriate state or federal court located in Cook County, Illinois.


18. Changes to These Terms

Chicago Luxury Stays reserves the right to update these Terms at any time.

The most current version will always be posted on our website with the updated Effective Date.

Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any revisions.
